Meet Luna!

A big part of my practice is having the therapeutic support of Luna – whether it’s gentle pressure, a kiss, some comedic relief or just watching her peacefully sleep as we process together she is always ready to “work.” Luna is a Goldendoodle (if you want to get technical she is a F2 Standard Goldendoodle) – she is hypoallergenic and whip smart.  Her nicknames are: Lunatic, Looney-Toons, Looney-Moon-y …and whatever creative name pops in your mind when you see her.  She is in the process of becoming certified as a therapy dog – we are constantly in training mode so another nickname she has is “The Intern.”  Luna is also my Emotional Support Animal and is a constant companion.  She is great with kids and constantly protects us from squirrels, the mailman/Amazon delivery, and the lawn mower.  I encourage clients to set boundaries with her, she will respond to commands and will eagerly show off for a treat (located right next to the tissue box).

Luna is also an active therapy dog within her community.  She is helping support the Boy Scouts of America as a troop support dog.

In 2024 she successfully completed the Canine Good Citizens test!
